Problems after motor install

I dropped a 39,000 miles LT1 out of an f-body into My 95 Impala SS. I am having some issues..
The car starts but runs pretty rough. Sometimes it idles on it's own and sometimes it stalls. The pcm has been tuned by pcmforless. I put in the hotcam kit before it went in.
The motor bucks quite a bit at idle and both fans come on right away. It def has some issues. I have all the connections hooked up except a few. I don't have my temp gauge hooked up due to the fact that the f-body uses the temp sensor on the driver side and the imp sensor goes on the pass side head(no place for it to go right now.)
All of the vacuum lines look good. The only one that looks questionable is the vacuum coming off of fuel press reg.(it is has a little crack in it , but it is ahead of the nipple.
I am also getting a low oil light(have 5 1/2 quarts in it) and check guages light. The oil pressure at idle is at the 1/4 mark which I believe on imp gauges is 20psi(I put on a new oil press sending unit when the motor was out)
Would the fans come on due to not having temp sensor plugged in?

I also tunes out the egr. I used a block off plate where the ex. man tube goes into intake. But i left the egr, sensor, and vacuum line hooked up(is that a prob?)

please throw some suggestions at me. This was my first real motor experience so maybe I have overlooked something.

Throw me a bone guys

If the fans come on, you obviously have a DTC. Scan it.

Have you checked for things like fuel pressure?

Do you have an codes? have you checked the vacuum, fuel and made sure the plug wires are hooked up right?

I have checked the wires 2x. The thing about the car is that I am not real familar with anything because I bought it without a motor. The autometer fuel pressure gauge(think it works) went up to like 50 psi and then dropped down pretty quickly to like 15. I know it should be running at like 40 but I am not sold on the gauges all being hooked up right because I didn't see how they used to be hooked up. I also have an autometer oil press gauge but need to get a brass t and run it along with the stock sending unit. I just got the pcm yesterday so I haven't scanned it yet. My buddy is hopefully going to bring his tech2 tomorrow.

I wouldn't trust the Autometer gauge, hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve and go from there. If your friend can get access to a GM Tech 2 scanner, I'm sure he can get likely get access to a fuel pressure test gauge.

Well here is an update. I went out and did some tinkering. I noticed that the headers on the drivers side were ice cold(no activity) while the passenger side headers were hot as hell like normal. I am going to guess thAt I have NO spark on that side. I am also willing to bet that it has something to do with the msd box stuff going into the coil module. I have been a little confused about the hookups since I did not install the stuff (prev owner did). I know 2 plugs go into the coil module(grey one an a black one) but then there is another coil module like hookup which I think is the msd connection, but I only have 1 plug and there are 2 outlets just like in the coil module hookup. I will verify tomorrow about no spark(take aplug out and stick it on the frame to see if it fires) Any ideas?

Also found out that my buddies tech 2 is for obd2 cars. I knew shouldn't have sold my auto x-ray scanner last year.

Another update.
I took #1 plug out and put it on the frame and had spark, it didn't have any gas on it or smell at all. It looks brand new. Next I checked driver side injector fuse(perfect). Then I checked 1-3-5-7 injector harnesses with a test light and they all had power. I am out of my league now. What else should I be checking? I am lost to why 2-4-6-8 are getting fuel but not the 1-3-5-7, could it have something to do with the fpr? i bought a fuel pressure gauge for the fuel rail and whith the key on but car not running it went to 44psi and went the pump stopped priming it went down to 39 psi.
thanks
Brandon

problem

Well sounds like you tracked dowm the problem if you have voltage at the injectors then you should be getting gas unless of course something in the fuel rail is stoipping it.

You said you swapped the motor obviously well if the engine sat for awhile maybe that rail (or injectors) are all gummed up(I had this happen on 2 out of 4 injectors with a used engine on a honda I did a few years back)

I would try pulling pulling the fuel rail down & attempt to clean it
If the injectors are used you may need to replace or you could try a aftermarket injector cleaner that plumbs into the fuel system directly
which I have ahd good luck with in the past
