Problem With Underdrive Crank Pulley

ALRIGHT MY RIDE CAME WITH A UNDERDRIVE PULLEY ON THE CRANK BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A PIECE...MY PROBLEM IS MY BELT WORE OUT DO TO THE JUNK PULLEY AND I CANNOT FIND A REPLACEMENT THAT FITS. I WANT TO REPLACE THE PULLEY AND GET A HARMONIC BALANCED UNDERDRIVE PULLEY AND A OVERDRIVE ALTERNATOR PULLEY. (WHICH WOULD GIVE ME A BETTER CHARGE ON BATTERY AND EASIER STARTS, CORRECT?) IS IT WORTH SPENDING THE EXTRA DOUGH TO GET A HARMONIC BALANCED PULLEY. IT DOESNT HAVE ONE ON IT NOW AND I BELIEVE THATS WHAT HAS MADE MY CRANKSHAFT SEAL GO OUT. WHAT DO YOU GUYS GOT FOR ME?

I had an add on asp pulley on my 97 ta.I thought it added vibration .I plan on buying a harmonic balancer replacement type of pulley .Asp makes them but they are pricey and very hard to get.Still trying to get one.Might have to order from somewhere like asp themselves and just wait for it..could be months..

is it bad for the car when at idle with it in drive the charge needle sits right above the red, but when you start driving it goes back up?

You can buy some overdrive pulleys to help with this depending on what make of underdrive you have..asp makes alternator overdrive pulleys.
