Problem: LS7 lifters in LT1 won't send oil to rockers

I have only found one other post about this problem but there was no reason found for why this happened. A friend of mine is having the exact same problem. The lifters will pump but not oil thru the pushrods. Any help would be great, thanks.

Yeah, there was one other person with this problem. Post more details on exactly what related parts you are running.

I don't know if this has any relevance at all, but with my new solid roller setup it took a long time to get oil to my rockers after my rebuild probably 2 to 3 min and a couple of blips of throttle off idle. I was pretty worried about it but it did start oiling and is fine now. make sure you lube them all up well while trying to figure out the problem if you have it running at all.
I know hydraulic is way different as far as oiling up there than solid, but sometimes every piece of info helps.
good luck

What else would bre related parts that would affect the lifter? This is all I could think of that would be able to affect the lifters?

Everything well primed and double checked.
CC Hi Tech pushrods
stock LT1 block, checked galleys, clean.
Has 80lbs pressure at idle cold... not run very long due to the issue. Started and run a few times to make sure.

Have you drove this car yet?
It takes a minute or 2 on a fresh motor to prime up once running.
Pour oil on the rockers and give it a little time.
Sometimes it takes the car to be driven down the road for the rockers to prime.

Thanks for the input. Car has not been driven yet, just run in the garage for a short bursts. It has been run for short lengths of time, maybe about a minute or so each. Could it really take that long and be that simple of a solution?

If the oil is not throughout the system, it can take a while for the oil to get up through the pushrods, especially on new lifters.
