problem i dont mind having
So I changed the header gaskets on my bird, had my exhaust checked and recently rebuilt my rearend. The new gears howl like a banshee, but its been assembled correctly. I had a slight header leak, and a few pinhole exhaust leaks(bad welds). So upon doing all of this I cleaned my MAF and my throttlebody like I do every few months and fired her up. And what happens? She roared to life and has massive amounts of power. It wasn't a slouch before but wow!! I don't know what happened, and I guess I don't care. But I guess it could be do to the leaks in the exhaust? The difference is astounding. What could have changed?

I had a small exhaust leak at the header and Y pipe merge on the right side of my engine once. My tuner was telling me something was up with that side and I found the leak and fixed it and the car had a lot more power after just that. Even small leaks make a huge difference.

I suppose that's possible. I didn't have any leaks aside from right at the driver side header. And it was just a little pinhole leak. Had the exhaust checked for posterity, since the headers on my car are so low. Long tubes and lowering the car was a bad decision. I was thinking of putting 18's on it to pick it up a little, but then my wife started talking me into a new Camaro. I saw the firebreather and was in love. Then I found out its a 90,000$ car and almost cried lol.
