Problem with Cloyes True Roller for 94 Z

I recently bought a Cloyes OEM true roller timing set for my 94 Z. My problem is that it doesnt have the spines for the opti. I do NOT want to convert to a vented opti, regardless of whatever anyone has to say. Can someone please point me in the right direction to get the right sprocket to work with my opti please? I spent 350 bucks for this stinking set and I am going to return it to get the right timing set. I rather get a true roller set and one that works with my water pump drive gear as well, im not switching out to electric wp.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think your pretty much SOL on this one. From what I have read you pretty much have to convert over.

I have been wondering if anyone came up with a heavy duty timing chain for the old opti?

Well, I havent figured out a way to make this work. Ive decided to return this and buy a new GM timing set from the dealer. Im using the extra money to buy taylor wires. I could care less about the convert

I'm guessing you cut the dowel pin of your cc305 cam...
I did the same with my hotcam.
I want to get a cc306 and heavy duty timing chain, but I my opti it's almost new (10Kmiles) and I really would not like to waste it.

I thought Cloyes did make one to fit the '94 with a non-vented opti, it came with a billet steel parts. I haven't had any problems with the stock setup yet, both my timing chain and opti are stock.

Lunati, cloyes, and comp cams make one for the non vented opti.

Lunati from summit is 108$
Cloyes from summit is 600$
Comp Cams from summit is 600$

Is the Luntai a true roller? single or double? I thought all us non-vented guys had to convert.
