Problem with Caliper

I've been having brake problems recently and decided it was time to work on them, so i'm in the process of doing pads and rotors because they are grooved. I can't free up the one floating caliper mount. I've tried everything, penetrating fluid, heat, and beating the crap out of it. Well the rod is bent now, but its still stuck. Any suggestions??

Is the floating rod unscrewed just wont come out? Or are the threads locked to the caliper mounting bracket. I know with a few of mine Ive had to use a tap and just beat on it for a few with a hammer.

Yes, its unscrewed, i actually have the bracket off the car, just can't get the stupid rod out. I already got a replacement rod.

I am going to put the bracket in the freezer, without my mother seeing, and i'll try to heat the bracket without the pin, hopefully i can get it out then.

Re: Problem with Caliper

There is always a way. What about a close fitting dowel and oil? That usually works quite well.
