Prob stupid question

i need to know if in my car is a 350 LT1 from a new camaro or the original. The guy said 350 LT1 but im not sure. Is there any way like i can check something to see which it is?

You can check the VIN numbers on the engine block to see if they are the same as the dashboard numbers. If it's original then they should be the same.
