Re: Pro mags hitting rocker studs

My small base circle lpe cam was very noticeably smaller compared to the stocker and the previous comp cam, I'm betting it was quit a bit more than .1 of an inch. I had took some pics and measurement at one point because I did not order a small base circle cam. I'll see if I can dig up where I wrote down or maybe even posted the measurements.
Some one stated earlier that is did it matter if they had guide plates or not, but the thickness of the guide plate would push the top of the stud where his rocker is hitting up by an additional .1 of an inch or so due to the thickness while the overall rocker geometry should not change. Stud to be used with guide plates would have a little bit longer threads, never noticed if the rocker mount portion of the stud at the base is any different for NSA vs SA rockers.

Finally found the measurements where I posted them, the stock cam is 1 1/8" base and the LPE was 7/8", difference of a 1/4" in base circle. I also had an LE1.5 cam at one point that was never used and it was 1.0" base circle, so there could be a .25" just in base circle difference depending on cam grind.
