pro 5.0 comming in the mail on tuesday!!!!!!!help!!

what should i buy for the installation?
any tips for noise reduction?
also with what can i cut the stick???
i have a grinder is that work?

You should buy some RTV to seal the shifter on the transmission, use a dremel or just a saw to cut off about 1.5 inches of thread. You could buy some gasket paper and make your own gasket but when I did it I found it to be messy and it didn't reduce the sounds as much as I hope so I took the gasket off and used just RTV.

Deffentally dont forget the RTV. When you take the old RTV off you might want to put a shop cloth in the tranny so it dosnt get in there.
I used a cut-off wheel to cut mine, a dremel or hack saw will work, just require more work.

Putting some lock tight(a thread locker) on the bolts that hold the stick to the shifter. Putting some lock tight(not the red kind) on the bolts that hold the shifter to the tranny.

Good luck, its really not that hard. Its a huge improvment over stock. Have fun.
