primary header leak on slip-fit

Anyone know a good way to fix this easily? i realy dont feel like pullin the headers back out to re-do this but is that the only option? the slip fit on the front driver side primary on my hooker LT's is leaking (noticing black spots around it and the obvious sound of it sucking air on throttle down)

Mine is too, and has been for a while.

I'm going to pull that primary and throw some copper hi temp RTV in the slip fit joint and see how long it holds up.

If not I'm thinking a stainless band type exhaust clamp.

I have my full exhaust held together with band clamps, they have been working out great for me.
