the valvetrain is not an area you want to skimp
you should be able to get by with a set a self aligning rockers, which will keep the cost down because you wont require chromolly pushrods or guideplates.
comp is a good brand, that is what i run., you would be looking at a set of
3/8th 1.6 SA pro mags $341 from thunder part # 63-1318-16
or
3/8 1.6 SA magnum $183 from thunder part # 63-1418-16

and
you need locking nuts

also im taking my heads in this week for a milling and they said they will do a 4 angle grind and mill the heads for 225...sound rite? and when i was painting my block i got a little bit of paint over spray on the head mounting surface...what do you guys recommend to clean up the head surface before i re install my heads...last ?? do i have to use a dremel and clean up the coolant passage holes in the block? if so how do i remove the shavings from inside the block if i do
