power window out?

Hey guys!

My drivers side power window just stopped working last nite! Both of my windows were down, and when I went to bring them up, the drivers side didnt do anything! I tried several times after that, to no avail. Is it the motor dead? How much are those to replace? Or maybe the wiring is bad? I'm going to hit my hayne manual today, just thought i'd get on here and see if anyone had any advice! Thanks guys!

Might be the motor but they usually slow down and go real slow up before they give up totally, yours just stopping withou t warning might be a wiring problem.

hmmm

Alright guys, I took off the trim panel and the plastic sheet. Now, I was going to remove the regulator so that I could check to see if the window is stuck or something. But in the book (haynes) it says to remove it when the window is up, mine is stuck down! Is there a way to remove the regulator while its down? Or somehow get the window up? thanks guys!

interesting

I put the switches together and just tried the windows. When I use the pass window, it works fine. But when I go to use the drivers side, there is a tick from where your right foot would be ( that area ) whenever I switch teh switch for it, and notnig happens. Any help?
