Power window fix (not the usual one)

Need some help.

Here's the scenario:

Driver's side:
-controls normal functions of dirver's window
-controls ONLY UP feature of passenger side

Passenger side:
- controls ONLY DOWN feature for pass window

I've checked all the controls, everything is plugged in fine...all harness are fine, nothing wrong with wires physically.

Anyone seen this before? I'm putting it in this section, feel free to move if necessary. Thanks

BTW--this goes on my 97 Z, not the 96 3800 if it makes a difference.

i'm having a very similar issue right now. my drivers side window works fine but the passenger side only always works going down using the passenger side switch. it will work when i wiggle the wires behind the drivers side switch so i know my issue is with the wiring. i haven't had a chance to take the door panel off to look further but try popping the console and wiggling the wires. also you may need to replace your switches.

Probably one of your switches. It's pretty confusing to troubleshoot since both switches have to be working properly for the window to work from either switch. The switches are not expensive. P/ns can be found on my part numbers page and there is a schematic on my Tech Page if you want to take a look.
