power window???

The power window for the driver's side on my 95Z has crapped out again. I have put in a brand new switch as well as a motor from Autozone in the past couple of months. Motor doesn't heat up when I press the switch repeatedely. Window actually went up one time. Left like that. Any suggestions would be welcome.
TIA

If there is a new switch and a new motor I would think the problem is in the wiring, probably a short somewhere if the window did work one time or intermittently then I would run the wires down and see whats up.

Pull the motor out from behind the door and try to run it. If it was a wiring issue, the motor will not turn. If it does turn, maybe you have a weak motor. Have you ever greased the slides inside the door? That made a huge difference on mine.

A "short" some where would probably blow the fuse or burn up wires/components but not always.

An "open" some where would stop the flow of electicity making your motor not work. An open can be a broken wire, loose connection or dirty connection.

I gave the wires a visual inspection, and they seem fine. That is not to say that one of them isn't burnt. I actually did not grease the slides when I put it in and will do that. I was wondering if anybody had a problem with the ceramic piece the switch plugs into. I never changed that. I think I'll try jumping across those terminal to see if the window operates properly. It's just such a pain to work on those motors I hope that's not the problem. Thanks guys.
