Power steering pump plug?

Did an A/C delete on my 1996 LT1 camaro. I took off the power steering plug when taking out the AC. Now for the life of me I cannot find the power steering plug. Yes I must be an idiot. Can anyone tell me what harness that comes off of so I can find it easier? I may have broke the plug off taking out the hoses and AC.

I'm not familiar with a harness connection on the PS pump. Is that something unique to the 96? What purpose would it serve? Could you post a picture of where the connection is on the PS pump?

Re: Power steering pump plug?

Injuneer is being kind......there are no electrical connections to the PS on our cars...

Except for the one on the AC compressor there is one for the opti, one on the coolant level sensor, and one on the inlet air temp sensor in the general area.

The AC compressor is in the back of my truck (I did and AC delete pulley) and the plug for it is tucked in over by the battery.

Re: Power steering pump plug?

That is the back of the power steering pump and there is a plug on it. There was a plug plugged into there when I started the AC delete. Is it possible someone put a V6 pump on there and a dummy plug to just hang ? idk but like I said that picture is the back of the pump and you can clearly see there is a plug in for it. There is no AC on the car so do not confuse that pick with the AC compressor. The car has an AC delete pulley on it.

Are you sure that's on the p/s pump? The p/s pump is totally in front of the bracket, it doesn't poke through to the back side
