Power steering pump elimination?

Who has removed their power steering pump but kept your stock steering rack? Need to ask how you went about doing it?

can i ask why you would want to do this? These things are a monster to steer without it.

You'd be better off going w/ a Pinto-style rack as opposed to the looped rack. With a full width front tire, it'd be almost impossible to drive w/ the looped rack.

Re: Power steering pump elimination?

AFR 227 heads with shaft mount rockers, perimeter bolt fabricated aluminum valve covers. Any questions. Pinto style rack is great for a 2500 lb car, not a 3500 lb car. Skinnies are never taken off. It is a 95% track car, solid roller monster. Any other questions I can answer.

What I am asking is "Has anyone done this....?"
