Power steering mount upside down, custom??
Power steering mount upside down, custom??
After messing around with a custom mount for the alt and power steering pump.
I realized that I have it with the pump upside down compared to the factory position. I did this due to clearances and spark plug wire routing. Does anyone know if you can mount it upside down and have it still work.
The reserve tank is still higher than the intake side (low pressure) of the pump so it will have fluid pushing into it and the high pressure exit side of the pump will have enough force I am guessing to move along just nicely.
Anyone run into this ever?? Guess I can just try it this way and see if problems occure but I would rather know ahead of time. I can flip it but clearances will come into play.
