Not sure which one you are referring to, but Im guessing its the Hypertech. Yes, there are several other computer programs that are cheaper and out perfrom the Hypercrap programmer! That programmer is a waste of money. There are several that you can check out. LT1edit and pcmforless.com would probably be your best bet.

I had the same question awhile back and did a search. Many many much people speak highly of www.pcmforless.com--which is what I'm going with. He does the programming for you based on your current setup whereas the LT1Edit program allows you to program your vehicle yourself. I'm not experienced enough for that--so that's why I leave the programming up to the pros.
