It's really just a 30 cent resistor from Radio Shack...don't waste your money.

Thanks,

I'll cancel it.

How about a Hypertech chip? Or a programer? I'm already running a K&N intake / air foil, LT Headers, magnflow converter with Flowmaster catback exuast. Shy from NOS, looking for an inexpensive and quick 10 - 20 additional Hp.

Racing an equally modified 2000 Mustang GT this weekend for $500.00 and want to be sure.

Any sugestions?

yeah a cutout to bypass that semi-restrictive flowmaster

since you have a 95 (obd1) you can have your ecm reprogrammed and tuned up for about $100 from www.pcmforless.com

Couldn't agree more...$30 for the cutout + whatever the muffler shop charges to put it on...should be less than $100 total. That Flowmaster isn't doing you any good.

Keep hearing negative remarks about Flowmaster but when I put it onI noticed a significant improvement in power especially out of the box.

It was the first mod that I did and well before the LT's or intake etc. So it can't be as restrictive as you guys make it out to be. Plus the sound was really nice.

I have a Flowmaster 80's too. It might be restrictive like people say...I dunno. I will find out when I get the Dr. Gas X pipe with dual Bullets...to see how much it was holding back. Can't beat a Flowmaster's sound though.

Well, it's better than your stock muffler. And it sounds better than the stock muffler.

I run a Hooker Aerochamber...I figure that any muffler you can see straight through must be helping flow. It doesn't sound as cool as a Flowmaster, but I don't have it on there for how it sounds.

Sound is equally important to me so a cut out sounds like my best alternative.

Thanks for the input,

P.S. Thats a sweet looking T/A you got there and fast too..

LOL...I wish that was my car. It belongs to my mechanic. I don't have any pictures of my ride that I care to show off...it's in sad shape at the moment.

cutout as i noticed made me loose my bottom end power, but helped me up top... flowmasters are restrictive... (if you ever look inside one, u'll know why... just compare that to a magnaflow, or soething similar, and u'll DEF know why )

i heard cutouts have gained ppl 10rwhp, but i think thats a lil too much... I dont think i gained anything honestly, but a nasty *** sound that scares the ricers away

i really recc u do the programing from pcmforless, u can probably get like 5-6hp out of it... if ure gunna run n2o let them know too (they will set it up according to that)
