Question Power antenna instal question...

I picked up a power antenna from someone here recently, I went to instal it thinking I would just plug it into the main wiring harness near the amp in the spare tire well. The antenna has a plug but there is not place to plug into my cars harness . The antenna has three wires, an orange, black and green. The wiring harness has 32 wires in it, listed 1-32. Can anyone tell me which #'s I need to splice into to install this?

Thanks,

Gregg

There are two for the power, and the third is what we know as the "remote" wire in car audio circles.

This would be the pink wire if you have a Bose setup.

The only way to really tell, is to turn the stereo on, and take a multi-meter and check for positve voltage of between .5 and 5V, when the radio is on, and nothing when the radio is off.

I believe the remote or activation wire is 5V....

Ya dig?

Of course, I'm sure ShoeBox has a wiring diagram for that. I have a shop manual but its not with me.

Zed, thanks for the info. I checked Brent's site first and didn't find anything on it. I just found this on Projecttransam which I think I should be able to figure it out from
