i feel like a dumb a$$ but i messed up my antenna at a gas station car wash. it bent it in 2 places. i drove out with a clean car and a S shape antenna. since it was bent so bad it wont go down anymore.

so my question is can i replace just the antenna part or do i have to replace the entire thing???

same thing happened to a buddy of mine...he just bought one from autozone for like 50 bucks...same thing happened...doh! I think it comes in just one piece, can't replace the antenna only. Then he bought a rubber one like mine and it seems to work fine, he listens to cd's all the time and havent heard the radio, but I'll ask him how the reception is.

Yes you can just replace the antenna. Its a PITA though, use to have to do it all the time when I worked at a car wash when I was in HS.
