POst header install problems...
After header install problems...
Ok, well it seems to be running alright. I haven't been able to find any leaks as of yet. I'm going down the road and come to a rolling stop, upon acceleration I hear a pop or two from either the motor or exhaust, not sure which. Then while Im accelerating from that point it is very shaky and rough. Like no power. As far as I know the only way an exhaust leak could cause this is if it's close to the motor, not around the converter (right?). So now I'm beginning to think it isn't going to make it home so I take it very easy and make it here. I wait for it to cool down and get out my kevlar gloves and start pulling plug wires. They looked alright until I got to the third from the front on the pass side. It has a small burn in it. Could this cause my problems? Just one wires being "sindged"? I need advice, thanks!

Plug wires tend to get burned very easily with headers, try an OVC set up if you don't have one yet (a few pics in sig) I also had a wire that got screwed up (pic in sig) and had a very rough idle and lost some power.
Thanks for the replies guys! It's weird, it looks like such a small burn on it too, nothing major looking. I will be going with the OVC set-up but for now I think I'll just have to buy a new wire and some heat wrap of some sort. Probably snag some from work.
