finally got car running after the heads and cam install. but now the car wont idle when the car is hot. it will start and idle but it wont stay running once ive started driving it. also it feels like its misfiring at high rpms. could it be opti? thanks again in advance for any help.

 

i also installed new plugs and wires. so im pretty sure thats not the problem.

check ignition module, if that dont fix it, probably Opti, how many miles are on it?

 

Did you set "0" lash during the install? Also sorta sounds like a valve spring issue aside from the fact that it only happens in closed loop. How about the o2 sensors? Are they working properly? Do you get an SES light when this happens?? If ya do and its DTC 16 for example, than its the opti.
