Possible future project

My camaro has a little over 160000 miles now and i know its end will probably be before the 09 comes out. I was planning on buying an engine and building it up before lt1 the engine dies. Is it possible to take ls1 style truck engines and fit it into the 94's chassis with relative ease or is it a huge undertaking? I was thinking a 6.0L with a cam and heads could hold me over for a couple years.

Instead of undertaking a project of that size, why not just rebuilt your current engine? For the time, money and effort involve in swapping to a LS based engine you could rebuilt your current engine and more.

Re: Possible future project

Its a project that has been done before, but the cost and labor involved will outweigh what it would cost to build up a very nice LT1 motor that will most likely yield better power numbers versus its LSx counterpart.
