possible coolant flow issue?

I believe I am having some flow issues in my cooling system since a radiator shop screwed up a tank swap and flush. I am just not running as cool as I was before by about 20* or so. It is also not dependant on the outside temp either, but runs cooler at higher rpms. After they "fixed" the tank. I had to replace the Temp sending unit, IAT sensor, and repair a short in the MAF thanks to them. what has me concerned is that the Temp gauge (who knows how accurate) reading the temp in the head as hotter then before? the fans (stock setting) do not come on until just over the 3/4 mark. Which to me look considerably more then 226* is should be reading at the WP to trip the fans. when I let get to where the PCM kicks on the fan and put some load on the motor it will drop down to 180*'s to 190* range (BTW it has the 180 stat back in from the winter I got tired of freezing) Since the cold seems to have gone I will put my 160 back end as soon as I remember where I put it. So am I paranoid or could they have flushed something out of the heater core and plugged up the coolant passages somewhere? Would rodding the Radiator be an Idea? I am starting to sound like one of those conspiracy people

I think you may have some air trapped in the system.Try bleeding it.If the rad. was plugged the temp would go up wiith higher RPMs.
