This Possible?

Dropping a LS6 Engine in a 94 TA GT? I heard of it being done in the LS1 models, but not LT1... because if it could be done, that would be sick... L0L

It can be done but the money it would take to swap out the moter change the k-member and other items would be enough to just buy an LS1 car all in itself. If you have the money then yeah go for it. You can get parts from a junk yard at low prices I would guess to cut cost, but then it would still be pricey. People have done it to all camaro models 1st though 4th. Just search the web and maybe you get lucky on how much it would be to do it.

Since the LS1 and LS6 are physically identical on the outside, and all wiring and hosing is the same...then logically if it can be done for one it can be done for the other.

LS1 and LS6 blocks are almost identical, infact some 01(i think) and 02 camaros came with LS6 blocks, but LS1 everything else, which makes it an LS1 performance wise. so I assume if you can put an LS1 in a 93-97, putting in a LS6 isnt much different.

you can fit in LS1 in a TA for sure
