Possibe different rear gears in 97 aniversey Z28

I am going to look at a 97 z tomorrow morning. The guy was telling me about it and he said he had a guy looke at it and he took down some codes from the door jam. I guess the guy called him back and said there was something special about the gears or something?

BTW it is an M6

Ive never hear of anything like this. Is there anything special about them at all.

nothing special! if its an m6 youll have the 3.42 gears... just look in the glove box for yourself!
