I recently bought it from them, it's cheap and enough for street car, which isn't raced.

A couple of people I know said that SLP claims they are on
" backorder " which really isn't possible since they are a take-off part.

Now, if I buy this and install it, will I have posi? I mean, do I have to buy anything else and is it direct replacement? Lol, I know its a stupid question, but I need to know what I need to buy becuase I'm about to finish my car...

The stock posi is pretty weak. That's why SLP takes them out...

Spend an extra $250 and go with the Eaton posi. With your A4, the eaton should be good upto almost 500hp.

I know what you are saying but for $99 bucks you really can't go wrong. I put close to 400 passes on mine (SLP Take Off) before it started to go out on mine. That's cutting in the 1.6's to 1.5's 60' times.

Yea, you're right about the price, and if it's going on a 6, it'll probably last a long time. But $99 is a drop in the bucket compared to the install, etc...

oops, just noticed it's going on a street rod...

I bought that unit when I blew up my factory spider gears. So far it has worked for me. As far as I know though, I had a buddy that was trying to get one last week, and they were all out of something. I can't for the life remember what it was, but they said that they could not send it. He was going to convert over to a series 3 carriers because he has 2.73's. Hopefully pretty soon they will get stuff figured out.

I ordered mine (2nd one) from them at the end January and got it in about a week. I guess I was lucky.
