pass smog with converter?

pass smog with converter?

will my car pass smog in cali with a 2800 stall, i heard that it will not pass because they run the car at under 3000 rpm.. ?

I don't think NJ inspection is too much different the CA's is, so I'll tell ya this, I had a 2800 stall on my old Z28 and it passed just fine.

I'm not sure about California but here in Illinois they are pretty strict with emmisions testing!

I have a 3200 converter with NO air-pump and I still passed with flying colors.

I passed the smog test just fine with my PI 2800 stall. Dont worry man you will pass.

I don't think you'll have a problem, although I do know that CA does have more stringent requirements for smog than the other states, which is why you see cars on the Price is Right, and in dealerships in CA with "California Emissions" Standard as a feature. Interesting anyways....
