POS 10 bolt!!

went around a curve kind fast and heard and felt a clunk. didnt notice any problems then but, now 3 weeks later i keep hearing intermittent noises coming from the rear and today its real loud. so i take the cover off and this is what i see...

That really sucks Marshall! At least you arent having the problems I am though... my motor might be seized!?!

Check out my post for the 411. If you are gonna do gears, I'd love to come help you do it though!

Interesting.

A good majority of the rear-end damage that I've seen have been missing teeth on the ring gear, not so much the pinion.

where can i get that reluctor gear or whatever its called, you can see in the pics that it got stripped when the pinion teeth got wedged in there...

it was a 4.10 which was too much for me being in an m6 93 with the .62 sixth. ill prolly go with 3.73's.

hey man i appreciate the offer. ill prolly just keep driving it till i order my other gears(only car) ...ill just take it real easy on it.

whats wrong with your motor? i thought you were having tranny problems...

I'd do teh 3.73's

I have em in my m6 and I'm pretty happy with them..
