Porting intake for larger throttle body...

I will not have the larger throttle body when I reassemble the motor, should I still port the intake since it's off the motor right now? I don't see what it would hurt to open it up. I will be going with a 58mm tb so should I port it right about that much? How do I get the shavings out of the intake when I'm done?

I did mine. It will not effect anything since the throttle body is smaller then your new openings you will not notice a thing. You might as well gasket match the runners while your at it. To clean it brake cleaner compressed air I suppose.

I'm running on a 58mm on my intake with stock throttle body till I get something bigger. Car runs fine. I cleaned my intake with gasket remover "Permatex". That stuff takes off anything.
