My plans are to get my heads ported this summer by a local engine builder.....

what kind of flow numbers should I be expecting???

also which cam do you guys recommend to go with the setup. Im leaning towards a XE....

 

Flow numbers can vary by quite a bit.

And there's a lot of cams depending on how your flow #'s turn out and how radical or mellow you want to go.

You can do a search and see what flow #'s people have been getting with self porting and with shop porting....but remember, it's not always about the heads that flow like a ****.
