Hey guys I have a full bolt on 95 LT1 with a hotcam kit on it and it has a dyno tune..... I am having my heads fully ported with 2.02 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust right now because my car blew a head gasket... The head porter says the heads will flow in the 270 to 280 range. My question is, How much will the newly ported heads throw off my tune?? Will it run richer or leaner?? Because the guy that tunes my car is gonna charge me another 100 to 200 to retune it.... Any imput appreciated. Thanks guys.

It will throw off your tune quite a bit. Definetely get it retuned... on the dyno.

 

So will it be too rich or too lean??? I might not have the cash to get it retuned right away... But if its gonna be on the lean side then I will definitely get the parents to pay for the tune and then pay them back, to keep it on the safe side. Thanks Madwolf.

It may bay rich or lean, you never know, but most of the times, it will be leaner.
