Popping out of reverse
Popping out of reverse
My car pops out of reverse. I have only owned the car for a week now, but the guy I bought it from told me that the whole tranny was re-done about 500 miles ago. He said that the reason it was popping out of gear was because the reverse shift fork was still really tight and that it was hard to get it to engage completely. I need to know if this normal for a fresh tranny to do this until it was broken in, or if something isn't set up right. Every thing is documented, and it has a complete warranty on it, so do you guys think I should take it back to the place that re-did the tranny, or let it go through the break in period and see what happens.
