popping and no power :(

popping and no power :(
i have a 1994 lt1 camaro with an auto at idle its choppy and pops occasionally and when under acceleration it pops a lot and accelerates slowly what could this be?????

I'm guessing here, but a very badly fouled spark plug could cause that.

Get yourself a set of plugs and wires (can't hurt on a 13-year-old car anyway) and go from there.

thanks im gonna check the plugs and wires and see if it is that or if it is something else. Any other thoughts on the subject will still be welcome and helpful.
