When i rev my car up, somtimes it pops thru the induction, Or atleast that what it sounds like. Any one ever had this problem? I just put a new opti in 4 days ago.

Has it been doing it since you put on the opti??? If so did you make sure the wires on right???

 

Depends on what kind of popping it is, if it is loud and the car runs like crap STOP running it, if the wires are wrong or opti is bad it could be firing when an intake valve is open causing an intake backfire which is very bad, exhaust backfires arent quite so bad, just loud. Make sure your wires are right like SJS said, and if so see if you can record a clip to hear what kind of popping it is, could be nothing.

 

No it didnt pop before. It ran real good for like a day after the new opti got put on. It doesnt skip right now, it just has its moments where it runs real strong, then 10 mins later it runs like crap. When i get home tonight, i am going to get my freind to place the car on the scan tool and see if i can get any codes. Thanks for the info people
