Pop-Up Headlight Question

Ok in the past month twice my passenger headlight has failed to pop up. It won't pop up unless I manually set it up, then it will go down and come up no problem (for a week or so). Is the motor on its way out? Thanks in advance....

Cool

Chances are it's just the nylon gear inside the motor.Go to Brents94 web page,as he has an easy fix,and offers a better replacement(brass)gear for sale.Hope this helps.

no it's not the nylon gear. The lights aren't grinding or anything (and i did the 180 swap about a year ago)....

Unplug the good side, have a second person turn on the lights and see if the motor attempts to turn anything, next time it starts eacting up. This will be a good indication on wheather or not the motor is dying, or even getting power. You can also take out the fuse from the good light to keep it from making noise during the test.
