Pop starting an M6...

how bad is it to pop start a car ( push the car then relase the clutch in 1st gear to get it started) does this put wear on the clutch? or any other parts? just curious, cause i have done this several times and it doesnt seem to affect anything

Use 2nd or 3rd gear. Makes it a lot easier.

I'd recommend just getting a new battery

If your battery is drained too much, you won't be able to start your car no matter how fast you push it. You don't have power to run the pump, injectors, or the PCM.

yea but after he starts it the Alt will take over..and since the starting circuit isnt working, all remaining power will go to the injectors/plugs after the motor has started spinning
