poor idle

Just finished rebuild ,fired up climbs to 3000rpm then slowly dies ,will keep running if I keep pumping throttle , seems like low fuel pressure or too much fuel ,any advice? Thanks Gil

Reset the iac. go to shbox.com for directions on how to do it I would also check for compression, clean the throttle body, and clean the maf sensor with electric parts cleaner.

Check your vacuum lines. I put in headers and tried to fire it up without blocking the EGR holes in the back of the intake and had a similar problems. I also had a cracked vacuum hose later and had a bad idle.
