Poll: For those with cammed LT1s
Since you really can't tell how many people who have actually spun bearing(s) after a cam swap I decided to make this poll so we can see if more people got away with being cammed or if they felt the burn. FYI I'm doing this to help decide if I want a cam in my car

I've got about 25,000 miles after my rebuild with a hotcam/headwork. No problems at all. Runs good.
The shortblock was rebuilt by a shop, but I installed the cam, and everything else after the shortblock.

Heck, I've gotta' put a new opti and water pump on my dad's 150k WS6 so I figure this might be a good time to try a cam swap (LT4 hotcam or cc305) and a set of longtubes. The car will soon have 3200 vig as well (and I think I'd keep the shift points @6200 or below...w/pcmforless tuning). Whaddaya think? How bad of an idea is this?

I have well over 5000 miles since I put in the CC305. But only about 1000 since I did the heads. I've only been to the track once or twice since the cam. Everything seems fine so far. I am still waiting to get to the track to get some #'s before dyno tuning.

My cam has been for probably 2 years now and VERY VERY hard miles only have been applied and ZERO problems so far.
It might blow tomorrow, but I primarly only drive it on road courses and thus every mile it has on it since the cam and head swap have been very hard.
Not to mention two SLP days at Ennis.
