I'm looking into buying a 58mm tb and was wondering what some of you have to say about the different brands out there. I've heard some bad things about BBK and seems like everyone is tring to sell theirs. I was leaning toards a Holly 58mm and then i came across the EDELBROCK 58mm. i don't want to spend a ton and would probibly never need the monoblade for my car.

I have the Holley 58mm.... it's a great TB, at least it is after I rebuilt it. Blades had a huge gap around the perimeter, throttle stop lever was loose in a groove in the quadrent. A friend of mine use the 58mm BBK on his 1,125HP 30th SS.....

I think the Accel/LPE unit is probably the best, although a bit pricey:
