Plz help me id this roller cam
I went to visit my old boss at a shop I used to work at and he gave me a roller cam that came out of a tpi camaro. The customer said the cam was too big and the car wouldnt run right. I guess it wasnt tuned.
id marks: It looks like there is an "L" stamped after the fuel pump lobe.
On the back side" 3G"X"6
"X" being a stamping that is unidentifiable. Only the top of the number is visible. However I can tell that its either a "3" or a "2". Possibly a 9?
So its either 3g36 or 3g26....3g96??
Any ideas? It looks aggressive and has a short dowel pin.
If I take this cam to a machine shop can they tell me anything? It may end up in my 93 Z28 if its streetable.
Thanks for any help! Josh.
