For some reason they are arcing. The grease wont necessarily prevent them from doing this but will help against it. Did you make the wires your self? Are you sure they are pushed down all the way?

A blue glow (corona) is not an arc and is considered normal at the plug. It will not harm anything or hurt performance.

Dielectric grease should still be used when you work with your wires.

You did not say anything about missing in your original post. Surely, arcing can cause a miss and so can lots of things. Comb over all ignition connections. Could be the opti or even something to do with valves. Maybe some more input on your miss will help.

ok, my car was missing the other day, i opened the hood and saw plugs flickering, thinking that was bad, i changed all the plugs and wires. Car ran great last night and early today. May be a coincidence, but i was out driving in the rain, and all of a sudden while deccelerating, it began to have a rough idle, the car feels like its on 7 cylinders and is getting bad gas mileage

If its missing than one of your wires is crossed up or arcing

Make sure they arent getting burned too, thats often a culprit also.
