Pluged Heater Core Here

hOW DO I UNPLUG MY HEATER CORE. iT SEEMS TO BE PLUGED. ALL I GET IS COLD AIR OUT THE VENTS. AND YES I JUST DID A COOLENT FLUSH. ITS A 1996 SS

Take both the hoses going to the core off the water pump and flush them with a hose. Mine gets plugged so bad, I have to use compressed air. One of these times, it's going to blow a hole in it. It also helps to remove the restrictor before you flush it.

I did this 2 days ago on my 97Z. I unhooked em at the firewall because it was easier from the top. (it was 30 degrees out, and I didn't want to pump water and antifreeze all over the garage) Took all of 15 minutes, went from no heat to rocking heat. Just alternate from one port to the other so you get back and forth flow. F*@king Dex Cool
