Plug wire heat resistance question? OVC kit best?

I have a set of Mac headers on the way, without a ceramic finish on them and when I do the install, I will also be changing the plugs and wires.

I dont want to burn up any plug wires so my question has to do with what kind should i get? I've been looking at the Taylor Spiro Pros and the Accel 9000's.

The Accels are supposed to be extremely heat reistant, I believe up to like 1000 degrees, and the Taylors up to 600 degrees or so. The difference is the Taylors are $25 cheaper, and I know its shallow, but come in red!

I've also seen the over the valve cover loom kit available at thunderracing for $100. If its better to go that route, and never risk burning a wire, I may just spring the extra 50 bucks. Anyone run that kit?

Thanks!

i ordered the OTVC set up for my MAC headers. It was kind of a PITA taking the old wires out of the stock location, AND I was being aggresive too! So i only figured it would be a bigger pain routing them through the stock looms.

I have the OTVC kit from Thunder Racing with Taylor wires with MAC headers. Works wonderfully.

In the picture, it kind of looks like #2 is all over that header. Could be the angel...

Edit: It seems to me that if you were to not route #2 through that second loom and then made the wire shorter that it would look better.

I am in no way saying that it looks bad, I'm just throwin ideas out.

Those of you with the OTVC kit, how hard was it to crimp the wires and install everything? I'm guessing its about a 2 hour project?
