PLESE HELP, Cooling system problem!

Alrightl, last night, I had the problem of hearing my cooling lines, haveing bubbles in them, I could totally hear it, so today I let my car heat up a bit, and then shut it off. then I unscrewed that purging thing that comes off of the water pump, it's the Big brass screw...?? And I could totally hear lots of air coming out....
anyways

I got sitting in my car looking at the temp and watched the temp rise......and rise... and when it got to the last white line when the fans kick in...... THEY DIDN"T!!!!!
it just kept rising, finally I shut my car off just before it reached the Red....I thought WTF!!!
I don't get it!
I thought I just had an Air bubble in my radiator causing my antifreeze to heat up weird...but no......my freaking fans aren't coming on for some reason.
I don't exactly know much about my car
but I don't get it.
PLEASE help, what exactly is going on I don't know, what are some things I can check, how much would this problem cost to fix. Is it expensive of easy to do?

PPLEASE!!! give me somefeedback on this!

THanks!

If you have A/C ,turn it on.That should kick the fans on.It could be the temp sensor on the water pump,relay,wires,fuse,PCM...Start by checking the easy stuff-fuse,wires,relay...

Ok, I just went to Auto Zone, and replaced BOTH the primart and secondary Fuse relays......I got in my car and didn't wait for the computer to kick the fans on.
So I just turned on the A/C sure enough my fans came on.

Im still scared to let me car run and kick the fans on by temp.
So
if they don't come on,

that means basically for sure it's my water pump temp sensor.

Ok where exactly is that located
I replaced my thermostat before to be a 160* but Is it just a plug that plugs into your water pump that I can easily get to or what?

thanks for the help!

I am going to go out and try again here in an hour after I let my car cool down and top off my antifreeze.
then Im going to let my car run and see if when it heats up, the fans kick on.

You have to remove the intake elbow.Right below is the water pump.its on the left side of it.If I remember right.Drain the system before removing it.Probably a good time to change the coolant anyhow.

Sometimes the temps rise like that because all the air is not out. Get all the air out and then watch it again.

OK, get this,
I am blowing water out of my exhaust..............

I am taking my car back to the place that put the tires on my car yesterday.
thats how this whole problem started anyways
I took my car to "Discount Tire"
and I paid for them to put 4 brand new tires on my car,
well i found out they are pushing to like do little inspections on your car now
so they checked my fluid levels,
and they didn't close the RADIATOR CAP all the way.......
I drove the car about 15 miles home, and right when I got home, my car was freaking boiling, I look at my radiator cap and got it to turn on another 1/4 turn, so from the looks of it im scrood
My car will blow water out of my exhaust when I rev it up.
and when I turn the car off, water stops coming out of my exhaust.......so ya im thinking it's more like a head gasket now......

I can ashure you I am taking my car back to the place tomorrow, and have them "look at my car"
You don't one day have your car running flawlessley, and then the next, ahve someone put tires on your car, and while they are at it check your fluid levels,
and then the minute you get home, your car is all FUDGED UP!

ya im thinking someone is going to be fronting this bill

Hey man i been down that whole road before, no fans kickin on, bleed the whole cooling system, new radiator cap and all. I had a blown head gasket and it sucks, but u should take advantage of the situation! Nows the time to go ahead and do the head gasket job yourself (you'll learn alot) and port and polish the heads and intake!! Also Don't panic about ur head gasket untill u know for sure. Now having a little bit of water coming outta ur tail pipes (on a cold start up) doesn't always mean u have a blown head gasket, moisture gets in ur exhaust so when its cold water can get in there, but if its doing it after its warmed up and everything then yes u prolly have a blown head gasket. But before you assu,e the worst drain your oil and check it. If it looks like chocolate milk then Yes you have a blown head gasket if Not u might still have a blown HG because the oil and water haven't mixed enough, But its a cheap way to just check! If u don't tho, a great investment to get is the SLP fan switch! You can turn on the primary/primary+secondary fans on when ever you want to.....

OK Im really trying this, but im just not doing something right or something.

Well I tried bleeding the system, and that was workig, it would spit out air and then spit out coolant every so often, I got it to the point where I got it to just spit out coolant, let my car sit, and then I toped off the coolant, then I started it up, let it heat up, let the fans kick in a few times, the I put my hand on the Overflow tank, and I could feel it bubbleing in there.
then I layed my hand on the CAP with a cloth under neath it, and could feel it bubbleing in there too.................
Well I shut my car off, and underneath the CAP you could hear a slirping sound, and in the overflow tank you could hear a bubbleing sound, but at the same time, it wasn't overflowing, it was only to the "HOT" mark.........
I freaking don't understand whats going on here..........what would happen if my thermostat was sealed shut? would that maked my overflow tank gush? or what? I honestly think I should be able to fix this, it doesn't even seem like a big deal
I don't have anything coming out my exhaust at all it's dry, and I don't have anything in my oil it looks normal.........
Also my fans are coming on perfect everytime

I went and replaced the 2 different fuse relays and I think that solved the problem, or it might have been what was mentiond before, that there was too much air bubbles in the system so the Water Pump temp gage wasn't able to really tell what the temp. was to turn on the fans...

I dunno this is just really weird, one day my car is running flawless, the next day, my overflow tank is bubbling....... I really do not understand why this is happening,
If anybody has any tips please! let me know! I think I am bleeding the system wrong or something cause I had this problem about this same time last year, and I thought it was for sure a blown head gasket, but come to find out it was just a damn air bubble........and somehow it worked it's way out of the system........
well Please give me some feed back on this, I don't dare to drive my car until it's fixed
