Please tell me what the fuel canister purge tube is and how t

Okay, I finally figured out that the plastic thingie next to the coil must be the fuel canister purge tube. However, I absolutely cannot find any other reference to it in the helms manual besides the bracket. How should it be mounted? It has one electrical connection and two pressure looking connections. However there is only one tube for the pressure connections. Which should I attach it to, the upper or lower?

Well, there is a bracket that holds the EVAP tube, but I think what you are describing is this . It is a purge solenoid for the AIR pump.

That's it!

Now, there are two pressure looking connections in the bottom of it. I seem to have lost one of the tubes that connects to it...hmm. Could that be triggering the SES light I keep getting?

You can see that one vacuum line goes to the AIR pump, the other goes to one of the ports (someone made fun when I said nipples last time ) on the side of the intake. You would have a vacuum leak if you have a port with no hose on it.

Ha Ha, he said nipples. Are they cracked and brittle? I think you need to rub a little oil on them to perk them back up....
