Question Are these headers/exhaust good?

Hey, I found these on new era performance. I need to know if they are good stuff. Do they actually add that much hp? Also, it says offroad y-pipe, does that mean it's not street legal? Here's the headers....

And heres the exhaust.....

Any help is appreciated. Also, where can I get a good cam shaft at? I can't find anywhere. God Bless

I just looked at it, and the Mac headers were $399, not too bad.

has anyone ordered from here before? I've never heard of them at all.

Yeah, the prices are good. I'm already saving up Would it just be smarter to get the headers, then put a 3" cutout after the cat converter? Or should I get the exhaust, I want the one that makes more HP. Also, will I get pulled over for noise? I want it loud, but not noise violation loud. Thanks again for all the help guys, very cool. God Bless

I'd go with the loudmouth first. The power increases will be pretty similar between the two.

Don't get the MACS...unless you just want really rusty headers. I've only heard bad about them...how they wear out more quickly than any other header.

I also think your giving up some power going with the 1 5/8 primaries instead of 1 3/4

Just go to these websites and shop around:
www.thunderracing.com
www.ls1speed.com

I, personally, am doing GMMG exhaust and hooker longtubes.

Are the long tubes that much better than the short ones for a basically stock car? Are they harder to install?

Hey, a wisconsin guy!
I am not sure if it is harder to install because I have never done it but I would assume so. And yes the power increase is still significantly better even on a stock car. The stock exhaust manifolds are very restrictive.
