Exclamation Please search before you post

I know Im not a moderator, but some of the things that I see on here are repeats over and over agian. They really get annoying. They made this website with a great feature called "search". You can search in every forum that is on this site. You can also do a search threw the whole board from the main page. Sorry if this pisses some people off, but when there is something important that somebody is trying to find out, and it gets moved to like the last page, people just dont look at it. Just please be curdious and do a search, then post if you cant find it. thanks guys. Sorry about this, just had to say something. I posted before I searched a while ago, and what do you know I searched and got my answer, I learned

It gets annoying to see the same thing posted over and over again, but making a post saying 'search before you post' isn't much better.

You have only been a member of cz28.com for 3-4 months... how are you already annoyed by reposts?

And besides if there wasnt a constant flow of new threads then this place would turn into a giant archive... not very useful.

Im not saying dont post, but when your looking for something about a CC306 and as popular as it is, you would think that somebody has talked about it before.

Re: Please search before you post

If you would have used search, you would have noticed that this has been posted many times before.

Yes it's been posted but still very good point. Search has been my friend for a while now...

So is an A4 faster than an M6 in the 1/4? Can I run a Top Fuel cam with stock heads? What is the best cat-back for red cars with 18" wheels? Why do ET Drags suck in the rain?

1. Quicker, but not faster.
2. Of course, silly. Sounding fast is way cooler than actually being fast.
3. Borla for 17", Corsa for 18", and Flowmaster for 19".
4. They make other tires?

Yes, the search function on this site is AWESOME. Most of the times, the specific questions that come from folks who've searched are far more productive than those who post without searching the archives of information.

Re: Please search before you post

Thank god for this post. Sometimes i post that people should do a search and they get pissed. These questions do get a little old. This board goes in waves, right now it appears the cc306 is hot again. Thats why there is 5 threads per page about it each asking the same questions. Pretty soon it will be something else and there will be reposts on some new subject. It is very frustrating when people are posting crap like that and it knocks your real tech question off the page.

Re: Please search before you post

Search is a good tool and will typically give answers 90% of the time. It will be quicker for the user to get the needed info. The other 10%, will allow the user to ask a more focused question, adding to the database.

The caviate, is being able to appropriately use the search engine. Most of us use internet speak which heavily uses acronyms. Sometimes, the use of acronyms hamstrings the ability to search for information.

with 22's, you just hack the muffler off. Your car will be too cool for it anyway
