Don't I need gaskets for each header where it bolts to the y-pipe, percy's dead soft gaskets?What the model number and were to get. And I don't have bolts for the headers to the y-pipe ( I bought the system used) what bolts should I use?

Well, the gaskets that go inbetween the headers/ypipe are called collector gaskets. And I am not sure about the size of the bolts.

TTT

More questions. The Permatex RTV this is used betweed the heads and the header gasket correct?
Also how hard would it be to change the valve covers at the same time as the headers? Would it be easier to do it now? If so what is the best valve cover gasket and a model number would help.

I have never put Permatex RTV sealant between the heads/header gaskets. I have done it like this on two seperate cars and never had leaks.
Sure you change the valve covers when you swap out headers. just remember you have to get valve covers that will work with the LT1 (alternator location). I am not sure of the part number for the valve cover gaskets.
